Press Releases: Assistant Secretary Biswal Travel to Honolulu 06/25/2015 04:20 PM EDT Assistant Secretary Biswal Travel to Honolulu Media Note Office of the Spokesperson Washington, DC June 25, 2015 Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Biswal will travel to Honolulu, June 26-27, for discussions with officials from India and Japan at the 7th U.S.–India–Japan Trilateral Dialogue. She will co-lead the U.S. delegation with Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Russel. In addition, Assistant Secretary Biswal will hold the U.S.–Japan Consultations on South Asia with Japanese officials to identify opportunities for greater cooperation and engagement in the Indo-Pacific region. While in Honolulu, Assistant Secretary Biswal will participate in the U.S.–India East Asia Consultations and a U.S.-India Track 1.5 Dialogue on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief in the Indo-Pacific region, which will be The Office of Website Management, Bureau of Public Affairs, manages this site as a portal for information from the U.S. State Department.
