Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Biswal will travel to Honolulu, June 26-27, for discussions with officials from India and Japan at the 7th U.S.–India–Japan Trilateral Dialogue. She will co-lead the U.S. delegation with Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Russel. In addition, Assistant Secretary Biswal will hold the U.S.–Japan Consultations on South Asia with Japanese officials to identify opportunities for greater cooperation and engagement in the Indo-Pacific region. While in Honolulu, Assistant Secretary Biswal will participate in the U.S.–India East Asia Consultations and a U.S.-India Track 1.5 Dialogue on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief in the Indo-Pacific region, which will be |
