The United States commends Fiji for its continued work to strengthen its institutions and create an open, democratic, and prosperous society. We recognize Fiji’s tireless efforts to contribute to global security, highlight the challenges of climate change, and promote environmental protection of our oceans. On this joyful occasion, the United States expresses its firm support for the nation of Fiji as its citizens strive for greater peace and prosperity.
