Now a story like this really makes me sick. It's just very sad that one chooses death instead of seeking every means possible to overcome financial challenges. Couldn't she even try to find an orphanage or relatives to take the 5 kids in? Why kill them too? They did not choose to die. Mtume !!!!

Friday 15th November 2013 - Grief has engulfed Kirethini village in Nyandarua County following the death of a mother and her five children in a house inferno yesterday night.
The woman locked herself in the house and set it ablaze after complaining of economic pressures. Neighbours said that the woman had problems taking care of the children since she had no stable job.
Having been fed up with life, she decided to lock herself in the same room with her children and set it ablaze. The four family members burnt to death. Neighbours tried to rescue them but they failed because the fire was too huge.
