Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Biswal will travel to Nepal on May 13-15. There she will meet with Nepali government leaders, Ambassador Peter Bodde and U.S. Embassy Kathmandu staff, members of the USAID Disaster Assistance Response Team, and other U.S. and international officials to discuss ongoing response and relief operations, as well as to review the long-term recovery effort.
