Is this how soldiers are now being treated?
KENYANS, I kindly ask you to put in your prayers and thoughts our disciplined forces. I have interacted with officers who were involved in the #WestgateMall rescue operation and the saddest news I got from them is that they were not being fed. Some of them stayed on the scene for more than 24 hours without proper food.
I am organising with some friends and others through Twitter to send them food. The hashtag is #SupportMaOfisa. I know that you have a heart for these wonderful people. A friend just organised and delivered over 300 cups of tea to the officers this evening.
The more than 200 officers will be at the "crime scene" for sometime. They might be reduced to around 50 and gradually scaled down. Kindly deliver some food to them if you can.
Our officers need support. They need something as basic as food to fight a battle while strong. We shouldn't expect them to go buy food when they are suppose to be fighting a battle.
