As part of the Secretary of State John Kerry’s vision of building a stronger American constituency for U.S. foreign policy, Assistant Secretary for Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO) Rick Barton will travel to New York City March 26, New Hampshire March 27, and to Massachusetts March 28. In New York City, Assistant Secretary Barton will deliver remarks on “Conflict and Crises” at Columbia University. At the invitation of the New Hampshire World Affairs Council, the Assistant Secretary will discuss “A Golden Opportunity for Diplomacy” at Plymouth State University and “U.S. leadership in emerging crises” at the University of New Hampshire at Manchester.
