Special Envoy for the Human Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex (LGBTI) Persons Randy Berry will travel from January 30 – February 13 to Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, and Japan, to participate in meetings with government officials, civil society representatives, and members of business, academic, and faith-based communities. He will discuss efforts to strengthen the global commitment to protecting and promoting the rights of LGBTI people.
