They will participate in an international conference hosted by the Pontifical Gregorian University marking the 50th anniversary of “Nostra Aetate,” the declaration of the Second Vatican Council on the relations of the Catholic church with non-Christian religions. Special Envoy Forman and Acting Special Envoy Suleman will also meet with key religious leaders, civil society leaders, and journalists, and will participate in a panel at John Cabot University in Rome addressing the importance of interreligious engagement and combating intolerance.
