From August 12-13, Assistant Secretary Thomas M. Countryman and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Anita Friedt will be in Brasilia, Brazil to attend the fourth U.S.-Brazil Disarmament and Nonproliferation Dialogue. While there, they will also participate in an on-the-record public discussion on U.S. nuclear policy with academics, researchers, NGO representatives, university students, and local media.
