Under Secretary Wendy R. Sherman To Deliver Remarks on the P5+1 Nuclear Negotiations With Iran

On Monday, April 27, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy R. Sherman will deliver remarks on the EU-coordinated P5+1 nuclear negotiations with Iran during the Consultation on Conscience, the biennial leadership policy conference of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC).

The three-day consultation will focus on issues of equality and civil rights, and also include remarks by Former Governor of Massachusetts Deval L. Patrick, Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom David Saperstein, Evan Wolfson of Freedom to Marry, and Bryan Stevenson of the Equal Justice Initiative. The theme of this year’s Consultation is Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Future.

The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC) is the Washington office of the Union for Reform Judaism, whose more than 900 congregations across North America encompass 1.5 million Reform Jews, and the Central Conference of American Rabbis, whose membership includes more than 2,000 Reform rabbis.

Under Secretary Sherman’s remarks will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC-Crystal City, 300 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA.
