Press Releases: Coordinator for Cyber Issues Christopher Painter Travels to South America for Cyber Policy Consultations 04/06/2015 02:31 PM EDT Coordinator for Cyber Issues Christopher Painter Travels to South America for Cyber Policy Consultations Media Note Washington, DC April 6, 2015 Christopher Painter, the Secretary’s Coordinator for Cyber Issues, will travel to Uruguay, Argentina and Chile April 6-10 to meet with host government officials on a range of cyber policy issues. In Argentina, Coordinator Painter will participate in the Ministry of Interior’s 3rd annual International Conference and Workshop on Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure, which aims to exchange best practices at a national and international level on critical infrastructure protection and cybersecurity. In Chile and Uruguay, Coordinator Painter will meet with government officials to learn about their work on cyber security policy.
