Two Muneeb and Mobeel Gondal then decided to enact the principle of impunity for attacks on Christians in Pakistan, that has left many disgraced, injured or dead, as Elishba had apparently argued with their mother and sister. The BPCA report says: "They beat her with iron rods and sticks leaving welts across her body, whilst they spat at her in disgust. The assailants were not satisfied with her public humiliation and stole 1,000 rupees (£10GBP) from her, Elishba's entire weeks wages, a gold necklace she was wearing, and her mobile phone." BPCA says a local group of Muslim's watched the beating, laughing at the disgraced Christian. " They felt no remorse or pity and let her trudge home alone, trying to cover herself in what little had been left of her clothes, throwing stones at her for good measure," BPCA said. "The attack was so brutal that Elishba Bibi has now m iscarried and has been weeping constantly for the child she has lost." BPCA says local Police have been accused of "fudging" the investigation deliberately in attempts to exonerate the perpetrators of the crime. "A protest outside the local Police station had no affect, and Police even tried to bully the Christians into ending their peaceful protest," the group said. The family of Elishba have received several threats from Muslim's telling them to drop the charges or face death, BPCA stated. Wilson Chowdhry, Chairman for the BPCA, said: "This disgraceful attack was compounded by the further humiliation and hatred meted out by other members of the Muslim community, in this town with a history of violence against Christians. Asia Bibi underwent a similar degrading attack only miles away from this poor victim and the situation seems to be getting worse." Chowdhry added: "I cannot understand why British Tax-payers, many of whom are Christians, would want any foreign aid budget to be sent to a nation with suc h an openly non-Muslim hatred. "This attack is one of many that highlight the need to terminate such funding, which never reaches the people that need it -- Minorities -- and is often used to fund continuing extremism. I remind British tax-payers that Britain distributed £225GBP million to Pakistan in 2012, allegedly for holistic educational reform, yet the nation's educational curriculum continues to demonize and caricature Minorities and has eradicated any contribution made by minorities from historical record. "Many may not see the bigger picture yet, but this propaganda has created a nation of zealots and haters and in future years, (and) I predict that this will culminate in an even more vicious society than the current one, that will spill extremist terrorism across the globe." Thirty-five-year-old Allah Rakha Shahzad, died on Saturday morning, allegedly after being tortured by police officials at Green Town police station, Lahore, BPCA stated. Shahzad -- also known as Mithu -- was arrested by police on Friday night after which an FIR (First Incident Report) was filed against him. Shahzad was in custody for selling alcohol and drugs. BPCA reported: "Police officials have indicated that the death was due to a heart attack. However, the family of Shahzad are alleging the death was caused by police torture." A protest led by Shahzad's family took place outside Green Town police station. "It has been alleged that stones were thrown in the direction of the police station and that tires were burned and blocked the road outside the police station, mixed with poles and broken glass. It has also been alleged that family members tried to forcibly enter the Police station," BPCA reported. BPCA went on to say that after the protest and increased public scrutiny, a First Incident Report (FIR) was registered against investigation officer (IO) ASI Rauf and three constables whose names have not been revealed. "Angry protesters also burned tires and broke glass with sticks, managing to block the road outside the police station," BPCA said. Shahzad's body has been moved to Munshi Hospital and will undergo post-mortem examination. A senior Police officer told the Shazad family that, if it is found that there has been any malpractice or improper behavior, the accused Police Officers will be arrested. Wilson Chowdhry, Chairman of the BPCA, said in a statement to the media: "Despite signing the 'United Nations Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment' on April 17, 2008, which they ratified June 3, 2010, Pakistan Continues to illustrate non-compliance. The murder of Robert Danish and Sabir Masih, two Christian martyrs, highlighted the malaise, yet despite promises from Pakistan au thorities of impending police reform, the situation seems to have exacerbated. To Pakistani Christians the United Nations seems to be failing in their primary goal, initially created to prevent another conflict like the Second World War, there ineffectiveness has led to global communities taking sides in the conflicts affecting the Islamic World." Chowdhry added: "Christians across the world are now being killed at a rate of one per minute. Britain has not legislated strongly enough against these warmongers who are a threat to the UK and should never be allowed to return. "However, news that two men and a Yazidi girl have joined the forces combating IS (Islamic State), sets a new precedent. It clearly defines a growing societal split based on creeping extremism within adherents to Islam. "This bodes ill for cohesion across the globe, and failure to react by western governments and the UN, is creating fear and animosity within our previously harmonious communities."
