The threat of attack across Northern Israel is imminent. Israel Defense Forces have detailed dangers of a major conflict with Iran-backed guerrilla army in Lebanon; warning of 100,000 rockets, 5,000 long-range missiles, and tunnels.

This new reality has forced Rambam Hospital to make the completion of the Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital an urgent priority.

Rambam must be prepared to safely provide the highest level of medical care, especially in these times of extreme emergency.
