Tanzania bongo artiste Hussein Machozi was caught pants down with the wife of a prominent Mombasa businessmen and beaten thoroughly. Hussein who is nursing injuries was at the coast to shoot a music video when he hooked up with the said wife.
According to multiple sources who requested anonymity, the singer has been in an alleged long standing secret affair with the married woman and they were planning on buying a house together.
To keep the affair alive, the two love birds shuffled between Dar es Salaam and Mombasa.
Our source told Word Is, "The married woman's husband is a very busy man. His time is occupied by
his numerous business ventures and politics. He started suspecting the wife is stepping out on him when he found funny texts on his wife's WhatsApp. He then laid a trap for the two of them."
The Tanzanian heartthrob fell into the trap and was caught with his hands in the cookie jar. Security teams on the ground tried to contain the fiasco as the husband of the wife rained blows on the star.
His closest friend Stephen Yaa famously known as Notystee - a Mombasa based promoter - was with the Hussein when he arrived in in Mombasa on Wednesday. Notystee confirmed to Word Is that the incident did happen and that the bongo act called him up saying that he was in trouble.
"I was shocked when I received a call from Hussein saying that he was in trouble. He had earlier told me that he was going to meet a certain lady whom he was in love with, but I didn't knew what was going to happen," Notystee said.
Commenting on the altercation, Hussein told Word Is, "I will get back (to Mombasa) when am well. I'm in great pain. I never knew that the lady belonged to a powerful man at the coast."
The star famed for singles like Kafia Gjetto and Addicted is currently hiding at one of the houses belonging to a prominent Tanzanian tycoon who lives in Nyali.
