Ambassador Robert King, Special Envoy for North Korean Human Rights Issues, will be in Geneva March 17-19 to participate in the UN Human Rights Council’s 25th Session. On March 17, the UN Human Rights Council will review the human rights record of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). Ambassador King will deliver U.S. remarks in the interactive dialogue on the human rights situation in the DPRK, following the official presentation of the final report written by the Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in the DPRK. Ambassador King will return to Washington, D.C. on March 19. |
