Press Releases: Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland Travel to Moldova, Bulgaria, and Belgium 03/28/2014 04:45 PM EDT Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland Travel to Moldova, Bulgaria, and Belgium Media Note Office of the Spokesperson Washington, DC March 28, 2014 Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland will travel to Chisinau, Moldova, on March 29, where she will meet with senior Moldovan government officials to discuss bilateral and other foreign policy issues, including the United States – Moldova Strategic Dialogue, energy, and economic assistance. On March 31, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Assistant Secretary Nuland will meet with senior Bulgarian government officials to discuss bilateral and regional issues, including our shared commitment to transatlantic values as members of NATO, the development of our economic partnership, and Bulgaria’s energy diversification efforts. She will also participate in a round table with members of civil society. On April 1, Assistant Secretary Nuland will travel to Brussels, Belgium, to join Secretary of State John Kerry at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Foreign Ministerial.
