Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Sarah Sewall will travel to Geneva, Switzerland on March 4-5, 2014 to participate in the 25th session of the UN Human Rights Council.

On March 4, Under Secretary Sewall will deliver remarks at the Human Rights Council High-level Segment. She will also deliver remarks at high-level dialogue sessions on the promotion of preventive approaches in the UN system, and protection and promotion of the human rights of migrants.

While in Geneva, Under Secretary Sewall will meet with her counterparts on issues related to the United States’ priorities at this session of the Human Rights Council.
