[wanabidii] Woman stripped naked in Mombasa

Saturday, September 21, 2013
Are we slowly descending into Sharia Law without knowing it? Why would people humiliate a woman like this? Are they also going to strip naked all those men who walk around in shorts and bare-chested?

Don't get me wrong though; I think women should dress appropriately and be sensitive to the religious culture around them. But it's equally wrong to humiliate them. They should have just given her a lesso instead of stripping her naked. 2 Wrongs don't make a right.

Woman STRIPPED naked for WEARING a mini skirt in Mombasa
The Kenyan DAILY POST 14:55

Friday 20th September 2013 - A middle aged woman yesterday took refuge at the Zedsons Electronics in Mombasa after she was stripped n3k3d for dressing provocatively.
The lady is said to have to have worn a micro mini skirt which exposed her thighs and a low neck top that left the essentials threatening to bump out.

According to eye witnesses, the lady who is suspected to be a student had entered Blue Room to eat ice cream when she was accosted by a mob. They forced her to come out or they would storm the premise.

She refused and the determined crowd dragged her outside attracting the attention of other traders and passersby who joined them. They undressed the woman arguing that she wanted to walk n3k3d. With only her pants on, she took refuge at an electronics' shop nearby to save her more shame.

Good Samaritans gave her lesso to cover herself before police rescued her from the angry mob which wanted to pull the pants off.
