Anybody ever had doubts about how to correctly pronounce the following words? I've seen some of our cousins from a certain regions of Africa (Not East and not Southern) facing quite a challenge with them.
Example
Exotic
Legal
Legality
Simple words but very troublesome when it comes to pronouncing them. I'm sure most Kenyans, Ugandans and Tanzanians have no trouble here so I'll concentrate on the few who just want to confirm or be sure that they are doing it right.
Example ----------
e-g-z-a-m-p-o (The L is so silent that I have left it out for practical purposes)
Exotic ---------- e-g-z-o-t-i-k (This is straight-forward; the "t" is sounds somewhere between t and d )
Legal --------- L-i-g-o-l (But the o is very soft)
Legality --------- L-i-g-a-l-i-t-i (notice the "a" remaining as "a" and not becoming "o")
