Press Releases: Special Representative Scott Nathan To Visit Poland and Lithuania 10/05/2015 05:28 PM EDT Special Representative Scott Nathan To Visit Poland and Lithuania Media Note Office of the Spokesperson Washington, DC October 5, 2015 Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs Scott Nathan will travel to Warsaw, Poland to chair the second-annual meeting of the U.S.-Poland Innovation Program (PLUS-IP). PLUS-IP is a public-private partnership between the United States and Poland, bringing together government, business, and academia to promote innovation and develop joint venture and research and development projects. During his October 6-7 visit, Special Representative Nathan will also meet with senior officials to discuss strengthening bilateral commercial and economic ties. On October 8, Special Representative Nathan will travel to Vilnius, Lithuania for a series of events on economic diplomacy and commercial engagement.
