The U.S.-China Legal Experts Dialogue will take place in Beijing, China, October 15 - 16, 2015. Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor Tom Malinowski and Principal Deputy Legal Adviser Mary McLeod will lead the U.S. delegation. This is the 7th Legal Experts Dialogue and the fourth since President Obama and then-President Hu Jintao agreed in 2009 on the importance of resuming the dialogue. The dialogue brings together government and non-government experts from the United States and China to discuss legal issues of mutual concern to both countries.
