Assistant Secretary of State Sheba Crocker To Discuss U.S. Priorities at the United Nations General Assembly

Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Sheba Crocker will deliver remarks at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace on Thursday, September 17, at 9:30 a.m.

Assistant Secretary Crocker will preview U.S. priorities for the 70th United Nations General Assembly, some of the key anticipated events and activities during the UN General Assembly high-level week, and the crucial utility of the UN to addressing transnational challenges.

The event will be open to credentialed members. Members of the media planning to cover this event must register here.

Pre-set time for video cameras: 9:00 a.m.

Final access time for journalists and still photographers: 9:30 a.m.

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport).
