Dear Fellow Tanzanians and Friends worldwide,
On behalf of Tanzania Global Prayer Movement (TGPM) leadership, I take this opportunity to ask for special prayer of divine protection for Presidential Candidate of CHADEMA Mr. Edward Lowassa. As we prayed for Dr. Magufuli when the Holy Spirit prompted us to do so, now He is commanding all peace loving Tanzanian Christians across the globe to pray for Mr. Lowassa.
Most people were confused when we prayed for Dr. Magufuli and they thought TGPM is pro CCM. I want to make it very clear once again that TGPM is non-aligned. We don't identify ourselves with any party or any candidate. TGPM does not endorse any party or any presidential candidate. TGPM is not a political entity, it is a spiritual voice dedicated to, "Praying for the Power of the Resurrected Jesus Christ to Transform Tanzania and Spring Forth Personal Renewal and Community Revival." We pray for peace in our beloved country and we pray for the election process to be peaceful, free and fair! We pray for any official presidential or parliamentary candidate of any party as long as the Holy Spirit alerts us to do so. We don't pray to please people. Our allegiance is to GOD and our desire is to please Him and Him alone.
Now that Mr. Lowassa is an official presidential candidate and is under attack, TGPM comes in to call for help, to call for forces of heaven to reign and come to his rescue. Mr. Lowassa is currently facing very serious demonic attacks. His recent rise in his political standing has brought joy to some but also anger to others. As a result, an army of enemies have risen that is waging a spiritual warfare kutumia uchawi. Wherever you are, start praying for Mr. Lowassa, it is urgent. Before you pray though, read Ephesians 6:10-18 and realize that what you are getting into is a spiritual warfare, it is a battlefield. Hivyo jitakase kwanza kabla hujaanza kuomba, jikinge wewe na familia yako kwanza, otherwise mapepo yatakupiga mwenyewe. Haya siyo maombi lelemama. It is full scale war!
Vile vile tumepokea maono ya mipango ya physical attacks against Mr. Lowassa. Wapendwa funga na kuomba. Renounce, Rebuke, Break and Render powerless all enemy's schemes, traps, missions and evil intentions against Mr. Lowassa.

Also attached is a prayer of divine blessings and protection for Mr. Lowassa. I urge those close to Mr. Lowassa to give to him the song above and the attached prayer entitled, "Prayer of Divine Protection and Blessing by Mr. Lowassa" so that he can also claim his own divine protection and blessing, joining the multitude of all Tanzanian Christians across the globe. This will be a good reminder for him knowing that the road ahead is not easy. It will take a hand of God even to survive till election day! It is not by his might or power but by the Spirit of the living God! All of us who will intercede for Mr. Lowassa, let us use the prayer in the attached document entitled, "Prayer of Divine Protection for Lowassa by Intercessors".
We have also received a revelation that one party will dispatch its vigilantes in a number of areas in the country, especially in areas where it is less popular and commit illegal activities. As they do so, the vigilantes will dress up in colors of the popular parties to discredit them and influence people to change their opinion about such parties. We won't disclose the party behind all these plans kwani mambo ni nyeti. But I want them to know our Lord knows it all and He has alerted us to pray and break all those plans in the mighty name of Jesus. The plans are evil and will endanger peace and the election process. We render those plans powerless and that they will NEVER take place in the mighty name of Jesus!
Please join us again next Sunday August 23rd as we:
1) Pray for peace as we get closer to general elections
2) Pray for divine protection of Mr. Edward Lowassa.
3) Pray against the evil vigilante plan.
