Orange launches the 4th edition of the music contest in Africa, on StarAfrica.com, in partnership with Deezer, Believe Digital, Zimbalam, Africa n°1 and Soonvibes
StarAfrica Sounds 2015: what if you were the new Star?
In order to promote new African music talents, StarAfrica.com - Orange's entertainment portal in Africa (http://www.starafrica.com) – is launching the fourth edition of the StarAfrica Sounds music contest. The 2014 edition was a great success with 88 candidates and more than 50,000 votes.

For this 4th edition, Marema, winner of the 2014 StarAfrica jury's prize and of the 2014 "Prix Découvertes RFI", will be the official sponsor of this edition.
A digital and participative competition:
From 31 March 2015 to 26 May 2015, the candidates (singers, groups, artists, musicians…) can register on StarAfrica.com, proposing an original song, representative of their musical style.
From 26 May 2015 to 7 July 2015, the public will be invited to vote for their favorite candidates on StarAfrica.com.
A jury composed of music professionals will designate the Jury Prize from all the candidates. The Jury Prize winner will be announced on StarAfrica.com on 10 July 2015.
The music title of the 10 winners of the competition will be part of the StarAfrica Sounds 2015 compilation. This year a remix contest, in partnership with Soonvibes, will be organized using the Public Prize and the Jury Prize winners' songs. The winner will be rewarded as follows:
The winner of the Public Prize will be given coverage on StarAfrica.com and Deezer Africa and North Africa, an interview on Africa N°1, a Deezer 4 Artists certified account, six months free access to Deezer Premium+ and free distribution of 3 albums on Zimbalam.
The 2nd to 9th position winners of the Public Prize will be given a Deezer 4 Artists certified account, six months free access to Deezer Premium+ and free distribution of 3 albums on Zimbalam.
The Jury Prize winner will be given coverage on StarAfrica.com and Deezer Africa and North Africa, an interview on Africa N°1, a Deezer 4 Artists certified account, six months free access to Deezer Premium+ and free distribution of 3 albums on Zimbalam.
