The paper is applicable to governments and advisory bodies who operate both in the developing and developed world and are working on solutions to protect citizens online, boost economic growth and reduce the cost of public services in a trusted digital environment. Mobile identity represents a powerful platform to achieve these aims and this paper explores the unique value of mobile in relation to security and accessibility and analyses both current and future use cases for mobile identity allowing registration, secure authentication and access by citizens.
