[Mabadiliko] International Day for Human Rights

Wednesday, December 10, 2014
December 10 has been designated the International Day for Human Rights.
While we ponder on the notion of Human Rights, we need to take into account the atrocities committed against marginalized groups like Albino, the Aged, PLHIV, and domestic workers.
We might have to ask ourselves what we have done to implement the Oath for the practice of Human Rights at the personal then at the national level.
Signing international charters does not make us accountable to adhere to Human Rights.
The accountability has to come from within us.
