On June 22, Assistant Secretary Nuland will travel to Berlin, where she will meet with senior German officials at the Chancellery and Ministry of Foreign Affairs on bilateral and multilateral issues. On June 24-26, Assistant Secretary Nuland will accompany Secretary of State John Kerry on his trip to Brussels for the NATO Foreign Ministerial and for consultations with partners and allies on Trans-Atlantic and global challenges, and to Paris for bilateral consultations. On June 27, Assistant Secretary Nuland will travel to Dublin where she will meet with senior Irish government officials, including the Tánaiste, and with civil society members. On June 27, the Assistant Secretary will also travel to Belfast to meet with senior Northern Ireland leaders, UK officials, and with civil society and business community leaders to discuss advancing the peace process in Northern Ireland. On June 30 in Reykjavik, Assistant Secretary Nuland will meet with senior Icelandic government officials to discuss bilateral and regional issues. She will also meet with business and political leaders. |
