Answer:  Deputy Secretary Burns, as part of his regular diplomatic engagement with senior Saudi officials, met on March 19 with Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Salman bin Sultan to discuss bilateral issues, including our shared commitment to further strengthening our security relationship. The two also discussed regional challenges, such as Syria, and the importance of regional cooperation in addressing common political and security challenges.
