We have been extraordinarily silent on the debate on the local content
issues/strategy in the gas industry. This is such an important matter.
This week, there three events to address the same.
18th Sept - TPSF and UDSM organized stakeholder meeting at Serena Hotel
19th Sept - meeting at Ministry of Minerals with stakeholders
20th Sept - BOT/ESRF organized meeting at BOT Conf Hall.

Have I missed the debate among the Wazalendo (TPN members?)?" E-mail
exchanges do contribute to sharing information and perspectives and
enriching wider discussions.
I attach hererwith a local content strategy for gas and oil obtained from
the Internet. It may enrich our discussion. One of the ideas being fronted
is to immediately develop such a strategy for Tanzania, rather than go for
another policy, which to be makes a lot of sense to me.
