They discussed the importance of tomorrow's discussions in helping achieve a political transition in Syria to a government that is responsive to the needs of the Syrian people. They also reviewed Coalition efforts against ISIL in Iraq and Syria, to include ongoing operations in both countries. Both ministers stressed the need for intensifying those efforts across all lines of effort.
