Press Releases: Assistant Secretary Tom Malinowski To Travel to United Kingdom 11/28/2015 03:36 PM EST Assistant Secretary Tom Malinowski To Travel to United Kingdom Media Note Office of the Spokesperson Washington, DC November 28, 2015 Assistant Secretary Tom Malinowski will travel to the United Kingdom, November 29-30 to lead a discussion of human rights as part of the U.S.-Brunei High Level Officials’ Meeting. The U.S.-Brunei High Level Officials’ Meeting will cover issues related to trade, security, human rights, defense, regional cooperation, and academic exchanges. Assistant Secretary Malinowski will meet with several Bruneian ministers to discuss how the United States and Brunei can work together to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms.
