The Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) has shortlisted six design firms in stage one of its two-stage selection process for the New U.S. Embassy Compound in Brasilia, Brazil. The firms are:
Forty-eight firms were accepted for consideration to compete. The shortlisted firms will assemble their technical teams and submit qualifications for the second stage of evaluation. OBO’s mission is to provide safe, secure, and functional facilities that represent the U.S. government to the host nation and support our staff in the achievement of U.S. foreign policy objectives. These facilities represent U.S. values and the best in U.S. architecture, engineering, technology, sustainability, art, culture, and construction execution.
