Acting Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs Judith Garber will travel September 7-11 to Seoul, Republic of Korea and Hanoi, Vietnam. While in Seoul, Acting Assistant Secretary Garber will participate in the Global Health Security Agenda High-Level Meeting as the senior representative of the Department of State. In Vietnam, she will meet with the Ministers of Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment, and Science and Technology to discuss environmental, health, and scientific cooperation; join a panel discussion on combatting wildlife trafficking; and visit USAID-supported climate change programs.
