The seventh U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED) and the sixth Consultation on People-to-People Exchange (CPE) will be held in Washington, D.C. June 23-24, 2015. Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State John Kerry and Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew will be joined for the Dialogue by Chinese co-chairs, State Councilor Yang Jiechi and Vice Premier Wang Yang, along with members of the Chinese delegation and their U.S. colleagues. Vice Premier Liu Yandong, Secretary Kerry’s Chinese co-chair at the Consultation on People-to-People Exchange, will lead the Chinese CPE delegation.

Please see below for the current schedule of media opportunities. A S&ED or CPE credential is required for all members of the media wishing to cover the events surrounding the S&ED and CPE at the U.S. Departments of State and Treasury. Please note that the deadline for submitting an application for credentials has passed and NO additional credentials will be allocated at this time. Those who have been credentialed should have received an email confirmation. For questions on credentialing, please contact the Treasury Department Press Office, Whitney Smith, at (202) 622-2960. Press credentials may be picked up between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19 and Monday, June 22 from the Washington Foreign Press Center, 529 14th Street, NW, Suite 800. You must present a U.S. passport or government issued photo ID and media outlet credential to pick up your S&ED/CPE media credential.
