Head of Internal Audit POSITION DESCRIPTION:
JOB DUTIES
Description:
- Preparation and execution of audit plans that reflect a risk based approach which are cost- effective.
- Reviewing and appraising the effectiveness and efficiency with which administrative Policies and Procedures are executed.
- Reviewing the systems established to ensure compliance with plans,policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
- Reviewing how the Bank safeguards its assets and verifying the existence of such assets.
- Determining whether operational results are consistent with established strategic objectives and goals.
- Reviewing the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information to ensure they conform to applicable standards.
- To avail reports to management that identify lapses in internal control issues and make practical cost effective recommendations for improvement.
- To suggest new or modified policies and procedures inline with changes in business operating environment where appropriate.
- Follows up on audit issues with auditees to assure that identified internal control weakness are resolved promptly.
Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in Accountant.
-Proven experience of not less than two years in a similar position in internal
audit Department in reputable banks.
-Professional qualifications - CPA /ACCA certificate.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Banking software (Flexcube,Microbanker)
-Knowledge of International audit standards.
-Excellent in communication , analytic and leadership skills
Human Capital Officer POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB DUTIES
Description:
- Assist the Head of Human Capital in maintaining job descriptions for all staff
Coordinating recruitment activities.
-Assist in recruitment initiatives and in development and conduct of staff induction courses.
-Ensure the smooth running of HR administrative systems.
- Entering data into the database or HR system for maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure that work permits and dependant passes are renewed on time
Administer staff benefits.
- Clearly understand the Tanzanian Labour laws and ensure that the Bank is incompliance.
Requirements:
-At least 3 years’ experience in general human resource management.
-Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Human Resources Management.
- Proven Computer skills (Basic excel, Ms Office, Powerpoint)
- Excellent in communication , analytic , organizing , planning and recruitment skills.
-Knowledge of Human capital policies and labour law.
- Proficiency in English and Swahili would be desirable.
