Press Releases: The U.S. Department of State Once Again Ranks High Among 2015 Most Innovative Large Agencies in the Federal Government 04/06/2015 02:28 PM EDT The U.S. Department of State Once Again Ranks High Among 2015 Most Innovative Large Agencies in the Federal Government Media Note Office of the Spokesperson Washington, DC April 6, 2015 Last week, the Partnership for Public Service released the results of the 2015 Most Innovative Agencies in the Federal Government rankings, placing the Department of State second among the 19 large federal agencies. State Department leadership is very pleased that positive feedback from our employees has ranked us in the top three for the past five years. The Most Innovative Agencies in the Federal Government rankings identify agencies that are developing innovative cultures by rewarding creativity, providing forums for employees to share and test new ideas, encouraging responsible risk-taking, and bringing in outside talent for rotational assignments to infuse new ideas into the workplace. The rankings are based on federal workers’ responses to questions in the Federal Employment Viewpoint Survey.
