Press Releases: Special Presidential Envoy John Allen Travels to Jordan 04/06/2015 04:49 PM EDT Special Presidential Envoy John Allen Travels to Jordan Media Note Office of the Spokesperson Washington, DC April 6, 2015 Special Presidential Envoy General John Allen and Deputy Special Presidential Envoy Brett McGurk will travel to Jordan for a meeting of the Small Group of the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL on April 8. General Allen and Ambassador McGurk will lead the U.S. delegation to this meeting of the Coalition Small Group at the Political Director level to review Coalition operations and progress along the various lines of effort to degrade and defeat ISIL. The Coalition Small Group last met in London on January 22, 2015.
