Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Puneet Talwar will lead an interagency delegation for this year’s U.S.-Chile Political-Military Dialogue at the U.S. Department of State on November 17. The dialogue focuses on shared strategic challenges, security and civil defense cooperation, peacekeeping, nuclear security, and nonproliferation and disarmament. U.S. officials will hold talks with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director of International and Human Security Julio Bravo, representatives from the Ministry of Defense, and other officials in the Chilean Government.
