[wanabidii] Colombia hosts international workshop for ensuring sustainable trade in sharks listed in CITES

Santa Marta, Colombia, 28 November 2014 - More than 60 participants, representing over 20 countries, came from across the globe to Santa Marta, Colombia, from 25 to 27 November to participate in a workshop focused on the implementation of measures regulating the international trade in five shark species that were adopted at the last meeting of the Conference of the Parties of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) held in Bangkok in 2013.
