The Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) works
with a range of strategic partners to deliver training, research,
consulting, mentoring, business incubation, project management and
internship services related to entrepreneurship and private sector
development in Tanzania and other countries.
We are looking for a dynamic person to lead our Business Development
Department. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Business
Development Manager (BDM) is primarily responsible for developing IMED,
its products and its brand. Specific roles include:
1) Marketing of tailor made and open short term training programs
2) Writing proposals for consulting and project management assignments
3) Supporting different projects to ensure synergistic operations
4) Managing relationship with clients and other stakeholders
5) Organizing networking and professional forums
6) Development, supervision and appraisal of staff working under him/her
7) Any other duties assigned
Qualifications and Attributes
A degree in management related studies, with experience in a middle
level/supervisory position. Result oriented, and able to deliver results
with minimum or no supervision. A master's degree is an added advantage.
Remuneration
Attractive terms commensurate with the successful candidate's abilities
will be offered.
