Dean Pittman will deliver remarks at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) on Thursday, September 18, at 12:30 p.m. Acting Assistant Secretary Pittman’s remarks entitled “The U.S. at the UN: Maximizing the Impact of Collective Action” will preview U.S. priorities for the 69th United Nations General Assembly, some of the key anticipated events and activities during the week of September 22, and the crucial utility of the UN to addressing transnational challenges. The remarks will be streamed live here. Bernstein-Offit Building, Room 500 Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School for Advanced International Studies 1717 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC The event will be open to credentialed members. Members of the media planning to cover this event must register here.
