The church is stealing my wife.
I felt it was high time someone spoke out about a matter like this. I know that such a matter goes beyond my home. I'm facing what I can call a family crisis but perhaps we may not be the only family going through this. I have been married to my wife for 20 long years and we have three sons. Most of which I can appreciate. We try our best to accommodate each other's preferences but of late her newly found faith worries me.
We used to attend a traditional church whose name I prefer not to disclose. But about one year ago she told me she became born gain and emphasized she change churches. I told her I saw nothing wrong with our current church but I let her change.
The problem is ever since she joined this church she has changed dramatically. She is never home on weekends because she is praying and even during the week when she is off, going to more than one so called overnight prayer meeting. What is wrong with praying during the day?
This has brought conflicts to my home. We are growing more and more distant by the day and she has neglected not only household duties but mostly it will be many weeks, sometimes two months or more before we make love. The boys miss their mother and I'm losing patience with her now.
Yours, Kapalu.
