Assistant Secretary Biswal Travel to Boston

Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Nisha Biswal will travel April 16-17 to Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts.

On Wednesday April 16 Assistant Secretary Biswal will deliver remarks at Harvard University on “U.S. Engagement with South Asia: Partnership, Prosperity, and Security,” and will meet with students and scholars there to discuss regional economic and security cooperation across South and Central Asia. She will also meet with key diaspora figures, entrepreneurs and technology leaders to discuss U.S. cooperation with India on higher education, innovation, and private sector engagement.

On Thursday April 17 Assistant Secretary Biswal will meet with faculty and staff at Boston University to discuss how to increase U.S.-India higher education cooperation, support for U.S. scholars working in India, and other bilateral and regional foreign policy priorities.
