President Jakaya Kikwete has appointed three ambassadors to fill in the posts of those who retired from public service.
A statement issued in Dar es Salaam by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that President Kikwete appointed Ms Dora Mmari Msechu, Tanzanian Ambassador in Stockholm, Sweden.
Ms Msechu who was the Head of Europe and Americas department before the new appointment takes over from Ambassador Mohamed Mzale who retires from public service.
Moreover, Lt Gen Wynjones Matthew Kisamba will be the new Ambassador in Moscow, Russia fitting in the post left by Jaka Mwambi who retired.
Prior to the appointment, he was the Chief of Operations and Training at the Tanzania People's Defence Forces (TPDF) headqurters. President Kikwete has appointed Joseph Edward Sokoine an ambassador and will now head the Directorate of Europe and Americas.
Before that, he was a foreign affairs principal officer and Head of Administration at the Tanzanian Embassy in Ottawa, Canada. --- via in2eastafrica.net

TAARIFA KWA VYOMBO VYA HABARI
Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Mheshimiwa Dkt. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, amefanya uteuzi wa Mabalozi ili kujaza nafasi zilizoachwa wazi na Mabalozi wastaafu kwa mujibu wa sheria.
Mabalozi wateule na aliyehamishwa kituo ni kama ifuatavyo:
1. Balozi Dora Mmari Msechu; ameteuliwa kuwa Balozi wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Stockholm, Sweden. Hadi uteuzi huu unafanyika Balozi Dora Mmari Msechu ni Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Ulaya na Amerika katika Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa. Anachukua nafasi ya Balozi Mohamed M .H. Mzale ambaye amestaafu.
2. Lt. Gen. Wynjones Matthew Kisamba, ameteuliwa kuwa Balozi wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Moscow, Urusi. Hadi uteuzi huu unafanyika, Lt. Gen. Wynjones Matthew Kisamba alikuwa Mkuu wa Utendaji Kivita na Mafunzo, Makao Makuu ya Jeshi la Wananchi wa Tanzania. Anachukua nafasi ya Balozi Jaka Mwambi.
3. Kadhalika, Mheshimiwa Rais amemteua Ndugu Joseph Edward Sokoine kuwa Balozi na Mkurugenzi wa Idara ya Ulaya na Amerika katika Wizara ya Mambo ya Nje na Ushirikiano wa Kimataifa Kabla ya uteuzi huu, Bw. Sokoine alikuwa Afisa Mambo ya Nje Mkuu na Mkuu wa Utawala katika Ubalozi wa Tanzania, Ottawa, Canada.
