Collected Department Releases: Release of the President's FY15 Budget Proposal for the U.S. Department of State and USAID 03/03/2014 04:15 PM EST Release of the President's FY15 Budget Proposal for the U.S. Department of State and USAID Media Note Office of the Spokesperson Washington, DC March 3, 2014 Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Heather Higginbottom and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Rajiv Shah will provide remarks on the President’s FY15 Budget Proposal for the U.S. Department of State and USAID on Tuesday, March 4 at 1:30 p.m. EST in the Department’s press briefing room. The briefing will be livestreamed on www.state.gov. Following their remarks, senior officials from the Department and USAID will conduct a briefing on background via conference call at 2 p.m. EST to answer additional questions about the FY15 budget request. An advisory with call-in details will be sent the morning of March 4. The remarks will be open to the press. Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport).
