"The German government has given to Tanzania over Euro 190 million (380bn/-) for a period of three years
to fight poverty and to improve service delivery, particularly in rural areas.
German ambassador to Tanzania Klaus-Peter Brandes said during the signing ceremony yesterday that the
amount was the largest amount Germany has ever committed to support Tanzania in its development".
