FORA CEO reaction to Micah Kigen's paid advert press utterances As the Chief Executive Officer of "The Friends of Raila (FORA) Trust", I am concerned by the press altercations being fueled by our friend Mr. Micah Kigen through paid adverts. Like millions of Kenyans, Mr. Kigen is a friend of Raila Odinga. However, FORA is alarmed by his tantrums in reaction to the good works of other friends of Raila. His misguided press wars no doubt is effectively misleading the public to think that FORA has factions. FORA was formed with one mission and one goal of mobilizing grassroots support that will oil Hon. Raila Odinga's smooth sail to State House. That remains our single mission, our one goal and hence a one FORA. This chest thumping by Mr. Kigen in the press is unnecessary, unwarranted and should be stopped immediately. Mr. Kigeni is politely reminded that he is not the only friend of Raila Odinga and therefore indispensable. As the CEO, I urge Mr. Kigen to redirect his passion to grassroots activities that wins heart and mind for our presidential candidate. The votes we want are located at the grassroots in the villages, at the market places etc; that is where our candidates want to hear and see us in brutal battle with our opponents. Mr. Kigen should stop antagonizing other friends of Raila who know the works that needs to be done and are working very hard for Raila's first round win. If Mr. Kigen continues this trend of irresponsible and childish utterances, no doubt he will expose himself as a political merchant with doubtful focus on our goal of making Raila the Fourth President of Republic of Kenya and thereby attract on himself unnecessary attention. Lobby groups remain the cogs in Raila's vote hunting machinery. The ODM Inter-Lobby (OIL)Group is such a super machinery. OIL was formed to reduce duplication of activities and ensure a coordinated vote hunt. The formation of OIL is definitely a welcome move to those who wish Mr. Odinga well. OIL membership continues to grow. OIL is already playing a critical role in oiling the Odinga's grassroots campaign machinery. Tomorrow Sunday, October 21, 2012, OIL has a public rally at Stage 56 Mwisho near Kabiru Primary School in Kawangware, Nairobi where we shall outline Mr. Odinga's 10 point plans for accelerated reforms. All are welcomed!
