Dear Wanabidii Africa Mashariki, The following new content has been been added to our website: News 09/03/2016 - The inadequate water supply and sanitation infrastructure in Cuamba and Lichinga in northern Mozambique accounts for the majority of incidences of water-borne diseases and environmental degradation in Niassa Province. In order to address this situation, the Mozambican Government requested financial and technical assistance. The African Development Bank's response was to provide an African Development Fund loan of US $27.7 million to rehabilitate and expand the water and sanitation infrastructure in both cities for the benefit of more than 250,000 people.
