Sensex back in green; jumps 150 pts on value-buying
Market on Monday recovered from two-month lows as the benchmark BSE Sensex rose by 149.57 points to 25,760.10 on value-buying in recently beaten-down blue-chips as domestic investors shrugged off weak global cues.

Apollo Tyres acquires Reifencom GmbH for 45.6 million euros
Apollo Tyres said on Monday that it has acquired German tyre distribution major Reifencom GmbH for 45.6 million euros (around Rs 301 crore). "The acquisition is a strategic fit in further growing our European business," Apollo Tyres vice-chairman and MD Neeraj Kanwar said.

GDP to exceed 7.3% this fiscal year, to go up: Jaitley
India's economic growth was expected to exceed 7.3 per cent in the current fiscal year and go still higher in the next one, finance minister Arun Jaitley said on Monday. The growth would come despite Jaitley noting that rural demand had been impacted by lower rains in the last two years.
