The United States values its friendship with Mauritania and fully supports your country’s continued development, both economically and democratically. In the coming year, we look forward to working closely with you to advance regional peace and security, expand educational and investment opportunities, and promote human rights and the role of civil society. The United States wants Mauritania and its people to prosper and to live in freedom, dignity, and peace. I hope that all Mauritanians will enjoy a safe and festive 55th anniversary celebration and find happiness and success in the future. |
